ABSTRACT
Most of the real world systems have numerous kinds of non-linearity, which cannot be expressed properly by linear approximation model. Therefore, a model equipped with flexibility to express non-linearity and good linear constitutive property is required in the model design and analysis. As such a model, Quasi ARMAX model, which has both features mentioned above has been proposed. The effectiveness of the Quasi ARMAX model has been verified for several mathematical systems and physical model of super heater system in thermal power plant.
In order to consider wide application of the Quasi ARMAX model to nearly real plant, a simulation tool called Modular Modeling System (MMS) is introduced and used to build real plant simulator based on physical design data. This MMS increases the effectiveness of available personnel and reduces the time required in the dynamic simulation through a modular approach.
This paper addresses about MMS outlines together with simulation language called ACSL (Advanced Continuous Simulation Language). Besides, some performance tests are executed on the MMS deaerator plant model, which was offered by Bailey Japan. Finally, in order to identify characteristics of the deaerator system, a scheme to Quasi ARMAX modeling based on the data obtained from the plant model is proposed.
