Automatic Detection of EEG Arousals in PSG Record Based on Knowledge of Visual Inspection

ABSTRACT
Sleep has the role of a cerebral maintenance, and it is very complex phenomenon.
An EEG arousal is a typical phenomena, which is seen in some of sleep disorders.
It is appeared in patient with sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome.
Feature of EEG arousal is abrupt shifting in EEG frequency and its component.
In the present study, the automatic detection of EEG arousals in PSG records
was approached by FFT infomation and taking into account the way of visual inspection.
