obustness of Modified Input Data Method for Accurate Contour Control of Mechatronic Servo Systems

ABSTRACT
This paper describes accurate contour control by the modified input data method for industrial mechatronic servo systems without adjustment of servo parameters. The adjustment is a hard work to achieve a high performance according to a certain empirical rule. The modified input data method can realize accurate contour control performance under a given servo parameters within an allowable range by considering modeling errer and measuring errers. The effectiveness of the proposed method has been verified by simulation and experimental study on contour control of an actual mechatronic servo system.
