| ABSTRACT |
| Among several numerical methods a Finite Element Method(FEM) is adapted in various engineering fields, for example, structural mechanics, sounds field and electromagnetic field and so on. In such a background, it is necessary to educate the numerical analysis at a university. Recently an object-oriented programming language Java has been attracted attention in computer science. There are some reports on numerical analysis using Java. However these are not practical applications but only benchmark tests. In this paper, we have developed the numerical analysis education system for the Finite Element Method(FEM) with Graphical User Interface(GUI) based on the server client model using Java language. |
