ABSTRACT |
A technique is described for extracting and tracing the center points of human motions automatically without employing markers. The obtained center points recover their 3-D locations employing an extended factorization method. The technique is composed of two parts. In the first part, automatic center points extracting and tracing is performed on a video image stream, whereas, in the second part, interpolation of the center points is done when they are occluded. The technique was applied to extracting and recovering 3-D locations of the center points of two persons walking around in a room and satisfactory results were obtained. |
