The remote control system of the movement robot that has a camera

ABSTRACT
Abstract: We analyze typical remote control system of a movable robot and implement remote control robotic system using HORB (Hirano Object Request Broker). HORB is one of the first distributed language systems that attained both portability and interoperability for wide range of machines. HORB consists of the HORBC compiler, the HORB server (a kind of Object Request Broker), and the HORB class library. We adopt the distributed object technology of HORB. Our system is composed of HORB server, WEB server, a movable robot with a wireless camera and client computers. Characteristics of this system are the easiness to build and high speed to practice.
An observation system in various environments is made by our system. The validity of our model is verified as a result of this experiment. We will develop the remote control robot system using a portable telephone.
